Memorial Falls and Window Waltz are two historic ice climbs located within the City Limits of Munising. They are fun climbs with a short approach. This property was acquired by the Michigan Nature Association and it decided to prohibit climbing. The UPCC is currently working to reopen this area.

(2) Send an email to https://www.michigannature.org/. Politely tell them that ice climbing does not have a negative environmental impact. The medium completely melts and goes away. And, given the nature of waterfalls and caves, there is no vegetation at the base that can be damaged.
