Silver Mountain is one of the premier midwest climbing areas, and it is located in the Ottawa National Forest.
The UPCC has worked closely with the Access Fund and the Ottawa National Forest to preserve this area. The UPCC has helped erase user created trails and camping areas, it has helped install kiosks and signage, and just recently worked with the access fund to build proper sustainable trails. This project cost close to $20,000, which makes your donations and memberships so important!
